After a couple of exhibitions in Paris, JC Earl returns to Belgium to show his latest works in the Encore space of the Alice Gallery. The artist had already shown his work during the series of exhibitions One Pot Cooking invited by Colonel & Spit. The epic Belgian duo is not so far again because they exhibit in parallel in the gallery space. In this new solo show JC Earl continues to develop this universe that we discovered during Safari, first of the name, a universe both urban and childish inspired by memories of childhood and travels in Africa, cult of brands and graffiti. The many ceramic sculptures are full of details, and the paintings on large wooden assemblages are impressive too, to see in pictures below or in Brussels until mid-July.
